Every student would love to tell his or her parents I’m going to college, right?

Here are a few standing questions to look into!

• Are you going to college?
• Do you know which college you are going to attend?
• Do you have questions about where to get started with your college process?
• Do you know how to complete your college application?
• Do you have questions about the different types of scholarships and financial aid?
• Do you have other unanswered questions?

Seniors, you should make plans to accompany your parents at the College Prep 101 Parents and Seniors Night on Tuesday, September 23 at 6:00 p.m. in the library. We hope to see you at the meeting.

Would you like to receive information about colleges, scholarships, financial aid and careers as soon as Mrs. Daniels gets it hot off the press?Then, please email your personal email address and your cell phone number to Mrs. Daniels. Include your legal name in the subject line. You don’t have a personal Macbook — not a problem — go to the library and set up your personal account!

• Would you like personal face to face time to discuss your college or career options?
• Do you need help completing your applications?
• Are you having trouble trying to decide what you want to do after graduation?

Please sign-up in Room 100 to meet with and to get to know Ms Gulley, the Career Coach from Faulkner State Community College. Ms Gulley is on campus each Tuesday.

October 14 – Huntingdon College in the Conference Room during lunch waves
October 22 – Interpretation of ASVAB scores in the library, time is TBA
October 30 – College and Career Day at Faulkner State Community College – All seniors

November 3 – University of West Florida in the Conference Room during lunch waves
**NOVEMBER 4 – COLLEGE APPLICATION DAY IN THE GYMNASIUM**
November 12 – University of South Alabama in the Conference Room during lunch waves
November 21 – Early Exit letters are due
November 28 – Early Exit students deadline for online courses
