Foley High School Junior Ambassadors had a great time volunteering at Foley Elementary School’s Trunk or Treat Tuesday night. The 19th annual Trunk or Treat started with the Junior Ambassador program, which was the idea of FES principal Dr. Bill Lawrence.
With over 1400 students at Foley Elementary, Trunk or Treat gives families a place to trick or treat safely.
Student Caroline Ray described her experience. “I had such a fun time playing games and interacting with the kids at Foley Elementary’s Trunk or Treat! All of the parents and children were so polite and appreciative for the candy and fun games. Everyone’s costumes looked great, including the Junior Ambassador members!”
Ambassador sponsor Leslie Fason said, “It was a lot of fun seeing the high schoolers interact in such a positive way with the elementary school students. I think they know they are role models in our community, and they helped willingly and with smiles on their faces.”
