Mr. Chris Reed was recently inducted into the Foley High School Hall of Fame.
Mr. Reed is a 1991 graduate of Foley High School, where he was a standout member of the basketball program. As a two-year starter for the Lions, Mr. Reed was part of two of the best teams statistically in school history winning 39 games and was named all-county and all-region.
After graduation, Mr. Reed began working in the community and has been with CenturyLink for the past 12 years.
He was recently in South Florida helping the community recover from Hurricane Irma.
Mr. Reed joins his father Freddie, his uncle Lewis, his siblings Roderick and Tennille, and other relatives as members of the FHS Athletic Hall of Fame.
Mr. Reed still resides in Baldwin County with his wife of 19 years Patricia and his two younger daughters Kristen and Treasure.
He enjoys supporting his children in their activities, including his son Isaiah who plays wide receiver for Southern Miss, his daughter Kristen who plays basketball for Robertsdale HS, his daughter Treasure who is the reigning level 6 regional champion in uneven bars and vault for USA Gymnastics, and his grandson Marshaun who plays city league sports.
Mr. Reed is also proud of his older children Cedrix who played football for Foley, his daughter Tichina who graduated cum laude from Tuskegee University and works for Columbia Southern, and his daughter ShaMaya who is a travel nurse.
Mr. Reed dedicated the honor of being inducted into Foley’s Hall of Fame to his sister, Stephanie, who recently lost her battle to cancer.
