Some of Foley High School’s students took time from their weekend to go out and participate in the Relay For Life in the Park. Mrs. Shastady Bridges, a math teacher at Foley High School, spent the day volunteering with the students.
“I am unbelievably proud to be a Foley Lion tonight! Today, I had the chance to watch thirteen of our students be a part of something much greater than themselves. I watched high school students give up a Saturday afternoon to be a part of Relay for Life. Our students participated in the activities and represented Foley High School well. Tonight, I truly saw what type of young people we are educating and preparing to send out into the world. I watched our kids bag sand help set up luminaries. As Relay for Life was over, our students stepped up and helped clean up. Our students did everything they were asked without hesitation. WE HAVE AMAZING STUDENTS!”
