Mrs. Sondra Luker wants to thank everyone for their patience with the blood drive held on Tuesday March 13, 2018.
There was a long wait on Tuesday, and they are working on ways to cut down on the amount of time students spend out of class for next year.
Mrs. Luker said, “We are very happy to say we exceeded our goal and collected 85 pints of blood, which has the possibility of saving up to 255 lives. In light of the recent school shooting and the bus crash this week, the Red Cross was in critical need. I am so proud to be a part of a school where the students and staff are so giving!”
Stay tuned, because HOSA will be hosting a community blood drive soon for those students who did not get a chance to donate on March 13th.
