Key Club volunteers served dinner for cancer survivors and their care takers following the Homecoming parade on September 20th.
The dinner was held at Genesis Church and sponsored by Coastal South Baldwin Relay for Life. There were 39 volunteers from Foley High School Key Club in attendance.
Mrs. Margie LoVette commented, “After dinner was served, we also cleaned up and set the church up for their Sunday service by moving tables and chairs. Afterwards, our Lt. Governor, Richard Nyguyn, penned two of the Coastal Relay organizers as honorary Key Club members for their service to the community.”
I was astonished at the way our students conducted themselves at the event,” Ms. LoVette contunued. They took a busy night of Homecoming activities and showed up to serve this fantastic group of people.”
