This past weekend I got the chance to drive to Mobile by myself for the
first time. Let me tell you, it was absolutely an experience. I am not quite sure how I made it
home without having a mental break down. It was probably the craziest drive I have
ever made in my whole life. My family and myself went to support my aunt while she stood on top of a float and
threw moon-pies and beads at people’s heads. The floats were absolutely stunning.
So grab a snack, and enjoy my wonderful but yet scary first drive to Mobile, Al.

The sombrero hair will not be pretty.
Sisters who wear sombreros together stay together.
Safe travels down the highway.
Beautiful view on the Mobile Bay bridge.
Doesn’t this just make you want to hold your breathe?
These views are just breathtaking.
I see the light!
My childhood fear.
I really dig the floral decorations.
From the drive to the parade, I can happily say this was a trip I won’t soon forget. Thank you, mom, for letting me grow up a little and drive like a big girl to Mobile for the first time. ♥
