Tell us about the friends you’ve made through your school years.
When I first got here freshman year, I thought I was going to have all the same friends from middle school. Boy, was I wrong! I lost those friends freshman year, but the friends I have made through my high school years have been amazing. They take care of me and we spoil each other. I couldn’t ask for better friends.
Who would you like to thank and why?
I would like to thank my teachers for believing in me and helping me out with my problems. I would like to thank my mom’s boyfriend for leaving little encouraging notes to help me get through my struggles. I’m also very grateful to my animals because they are my support system and just seem to know when I need them.
Name some people who had a big influence on the person you have become.
The main people who have been a big influence to me are the people I don’t talk to anymore ,because at one time they were an important part of my life and taught me how to deal in serious situations. Also, my family is important because without them, I wouldn’t even be here. Amari is my main influencer, because I don’t know why, but I seem to listen to everything she tells me to do!
If you could meet anyone, living or dead, who would you choose?
I would meet Anthony Reeves, a YouTuber who has a large following. I would like to meet him because he makes me laugh and smile. He has changed my life.
If you won the lottery, what is the first thing you would do?
I would invest my money. When I am older, I would be a millionaire and could invest in people I care about. When I am 40. I could retire and leave whenever I want.
What songs are included on the soundtrack to your life and why did you choose them?
Undercover Pressure because people are always creating rumors but none of it is true. The next song is Self-Made because I don’t use mommies and daddies money to pay for my stuff. Last but not least, I’m so tired because I’m literally always tired.
What did you do growing up that got you into trouble?
I didn’t do anything bad as a kid. I used to ask my dad if I could cry when I got hurt. The only thing I can think of is cutting my own hair.
What do you miss most about being a kid?
I miss not having responsibilities. I could get away with almost anything. My brother took the blame for everything.
What story does your family always tell about you?
My dad always tells me about Dirty Santa with the family. When my Uncle Ken was still here, he got a toilet seat one year. A few years ago, my cousin’s gift was a picture of Cam Newton with my cousin’s face.
The best advice I would give a 10-year-old me would be?
I would tell my 10-year-old self that it will get hard, but you will somehow find a way to get through it. I would tell her that Dad is still going to use his guilt trip, but you still need to give your opinion. One other thing I would tell her is to speak up; it may be hard, but you’ll need to do it eventually.
