Hangout Fest is a music festival on the beaches of Gulf Shores, Alabama. Hangout Fest is always a fun, chill, safe, and not at all sweaty time. This festival is a great place to get amazing pictures for your Instagram and get the best tan lines. Well, that is what they tell you.
The reality of Hangout Fest is being one or more of the following: sweaty in a crowd, severely dehydrated, pushed, shoved, lost, and tired with music playing in the background. The food is expensive, the water is expensive, the smells are offensive, the sun is hot. Seating under the shade is extremely limited. You’ll meet a lot of different people at the festival, some are drunk or high, some are actually cool, some are trying to be a bit of everything, and some are, well to put in PG terms, jerks.
The only way the festival is enjoyable is if you have some good friends to enjoy it with. Here are a few pictures of me and mine.
Being constantly on your feet is exhausting, so when you find a good place to sit that is close enough to the music and the food, you’ve got to take it.
Aside from all the sweat, occasional tears, walking, and odd smells, Hangout Music Festival is an amazing way to kick off the summer and see things you’ve never seen and most likely won’t see again until next year.
