There are lots of responsibilities people have when owning a dog.
Here are some steps for proper dog ownership.
1st You have to keep your dog healthy, which means feeding it, walking it, and bathing it.
2nd You have to keep your dog safe. That means you have to keep it inside the house unless you are walking it, and you’ll need to have a proper home for a dog includes proper heating and cooling.
3rd You have train your dog. To train your dog, you tell your dog to do something like roll over or sit. Then you reward them with a treat. To train him or her to use the bathroom outside, bring them outside, and reward them when they potty outside. Don’t reward them if they use the bathroom inside. Many dogs will sit by the door if they need to use the bathroom, and if they don’t do that, then you just take them outside.
4th You have to be your dog’s best friend. To be your dog’s best friend, you have to interact with them, go for walks, lay on the floor with them, play games like catch the ball, praise your dog, make them first on some occasions, and think about them frequently.
5th You have to love your dog. You need to spend all the time you can with your dog and let them know that you are there for them. Love your dog like you love yourself and give your dog the things they need. You would not eat in front of your dog without sharing, and you shouldn’t ever forget to feed your dog.
You want to hold your dog close to you and show them love and devotion.
If you do these things, you’ll have a dog that will love you unconditionally.
