Foley seniors have nominated Jimmy O’Cain for Teacher of the Month for November.
Seniors were given the opportunity to nominate teachers who challenge and support them inside and outside of the classroom.

What was your first job? Ward’s (local Mississippi burger joint)
What college did you graduate from, and what are your degrees in? University of Southern Mississippi,
Bachelor in Music Education; University of Phoenix, Master Education Curriculum and Instruction; University of
West Alabama, Master of Science Educational Leadership
What classes do you teach now? Instrumental Music (Steel Band, Percussion Ensemble, and Band)
Do you have a trademark expression? “Let’s Kick this Pig”
The best advice you would give a 20-year-old would be: You can become anything you want in this world with
hard work. (D.A.A.A) Decide that something needs to be done, Act on that decision, Analyze what was done, and
make Adjustments. Rinse and Repeat.
If you wrote a book, what would it be about? Fantasy Fiction
Do you like scary movies or books? Any particular Favorites? YES, I DO!!! Favorites are a toss between “The
Shining” and “Nightmare on Elm Street”
What is your favorite technology? YouTube
Will you survive a zombie apocalypse? How? I like to think yes (at least for a little while). Gather a group and
take Fort Morgan. It is a defensible position since it is surrounded on 3 sides by water.
What old television show would you bring back? Dungeons and Dragons
What would you like to do during Spring Break? Go on a Cruise to the Caribbean
