This is Anthony Clemmons, a junior at Foley High School. Anthony loves to wrestle, hang out with friends, and go mud riding. Anthony is a very special person in my life whom I have known since first grade.
He recently won three out of five matches at a wrestling tournament in Fairhope, Alabama. His first-ever wrestling match was against a student from Baker High School. He went up against this guy that had to be at least four inches taller and looked stronger (Sorry Anthony, but it’s true.) He did very well bridging the Hulk, but unfortunately, he did lose the match. Although, he did end up winning his next match against another Baker High School student.
About a week ago, a few of my friends and I went mud riding. Well, Anthony and I rode in the back of our friend’s Polaris side by side. We went toward the tilapia farm, and as soon as we plopped into the huge pond, the whole ride started flooding. I have never seen this boy climb so fast; he looked like one of those unfolding couches that turn into a bed. His head was on the roof and his knees were right there with him.
I just watched a five-foot-nine man get scared of MUD.
Some of my favorite things about Anthony are that he is funny, smart and always has my back. When I don’t feel like myself, he reminds me who I am, and that I can rule the world. He is also my bodyguard. If y’all have never seen Anthony Clemmons, let me just tell you, he is buff and really strong. I have seen this boy lift up the back of a truck so we could put new tires on.
Anthony Clemmons is one of my best friends, and I am so glad that he is in my life. He is such an amazing friend, and to everyone reading this right now, I hope you have a best friend as amazing as he is.
