Mrs. Julie Killion is a case manager at Foley High School, plus she teaches a variety of math subjects.
As a case manager, Mrs. Killion helps students with low grades, missing assignments, and much more, and she is a very hard working teacher.
Q: Why did you decide to be a teacher?
A: I have always had a passion for helping others. My previous career was considered a helping profession, however, it offered very little social interaction with others. I decided to be a teacher to help make a positive impact on students in education.
Where did you learn how to teach?
I learned how to teach during my time spent at Foley High School along with my classes taken at The University of South Alabama.
What else can you teach?
I teach algebra and geometry in special education.
When did you start teaching?
I started subbing in the school system in 2015 and teaching in 2016.
