What do you do when they fair gets rained out?
It was a cold rainy Monday. My girlfriend and I were looking for something to do since the Pensacola Fair was obviously a no go due to rain. We decided to go see a movie. At first we didn’t know what movie to watch, so we picked on a move that was Rated-R. My brother joined us, because he and his girlfriend had just broke up, so me and my girlfriend decided to get him out the house to cheer him up, but that’s just a story for another time. So just our luck, he’s too young to see a Rated-R movie. We ended up watching Gemini Man.
After we had paid for the tickets, right behind us in line we recognized none other than the all great, all mighty… Mrs. Amanda Major, our newspaper teacher, which just made things a little hype for a minute or two. Of course, I’ve been saying this topic would be my next article, but I procrastinated greatly. On the bright side, here are some photographic images taken by none other than me, Jorge Mercado.
Here is Mrs. Major buying her ticket before realizing we were her students.
This is moments after she realized it was Iveth and me, her most favorite or all her students in her ten years of teaching, standing right behind her in the theater.
Here is me in the photo booth. P.S., here a tip for anyone ever going to the movies with your lady friend – carry cash! The photo booth does not accept credit cards.
Here is Iveth looking at the Pac-Man machine, reflecting on her childhood, and realizing she used to be good at Pac-Man. Neither of really have any idea where that skill went.
On the bright side, if you need a partner to go hunting with, my brother is apparently good with a shotgun.
Little man got a high score.
Being the best has it’s perks, and I got a free ride after I achieved 1st place.
Even if we wished we had been able to go to the fair, our movie night at the Wharf was one for the books.
