Believe it or not, this is not a letter of complaint. This is a letter of praise, appreciation, and maybe even a little trip down memory lane, we’ll see.
Mom, you are my favorite person. We don’t have a “normal” mother-daughter relationship. Our relationship is extra special.
None of my friends ever seem to understand when I say, “I can’t hangout this weekend…My mom and I have plans.”
For a long time, it was just the two of us, and it’s not anymore. I love Walter, but you and I still need our quality time. (Even if that just means walking around Target together.)
You were my first friend, but not in a weird mom way. I can talk to you about any and everything. You don’t always know what to say, but you always end up saying something perfect.
You’re the mom that every kid dreams of having.
You have made so many sacrifices for me. You’ve gone the extra mile as a parent. Sometimes you say things like, “Am I doing this right?” or “I don’t know how to mom.”
You do indeed know how to mom, and you’re very good at it.
