Junior year, thank you for the amazing memories. As most people say, “Junior year is very stressful.” That is very true, but it depends what you make out of it. I can say that I survived, and that I have another year left at Foley High School. I still cannot believe that I am about to be a senior. I close my eyes, and think about kindergarten; how I wanted to grow up already. Time flies in just a blink of an eye.
Upcoming freshmen, sophomores, and juniors; please do not rush anything. I promise you, you will get to a point in life where you will wonder where time went. I am fully aware of what my future holds. I know what I want to do in college. I know where I want to go for medical school, but there are days where I am not ready for this new step in life. Please take everything slow, do not procrastinate, and do not let anything distract you.
This year, I have gained so much knowledge of my future that I am ready to get into it. I do not want to leave my house already, but I do want to go to college. It is a journey that will be so long. I am very grateful for all my teachers. I can never forget each of them because they have taught me a lot. They truly have passion for teaching and enjoy what they do.
Every service event I participated in this year conveyed a message of the importance of serving the community. Every conference I attended for leadership has impacted my life in numerous ways. In the future, I want my children to do the same. Actually, I know for a fact that they will do an even a better job. I know for a fact that I had the ability to help numerous people, and that is something I would never change. For my senior year, I hope to do show gratitude in serving the community because I enjoy the feeling of giving back. I am aware that in the future, I will receive that help in return.
This year, I built so many friendships that I can still see maintaining in the future. I am very thankful for all the great people I met this year because they have shown what a true friendship is. I am not a person who enjoys drama or being mean. I am always willing to start new friendships, and that is the way I am. I know there were so many times this year where I felt very stressed and like I did not know what to do. Luckily, that is now over and I can take a vacation to relax. Senior year, you might be stressful too because of AP Biology, AP Calculus, and all the other AP classes plus EMT, but I am ready!
I cannot thank everyone my friends enough for being supportive, and I hope that will continue. You guys have impacted my life in many positive ways. I hope we continue being friends forever. I really want to see your success throughout my life. I cannot believe junior year is over and that I am about to be a senior. It is unbelievable.
I wish I could live childhood memories again. I miss a lot of things from when I was a child, but hey… I am about to start my future career soon. I will be the best doctor and I know that for a fact. I want to be fully dedicated to my career and all the years of college. I am going to miss junior year!

Junior year, you really tested me. This has been an eventful year for me, to say the least. I have made new friends, tried new things, and of course found another little piece of me that I did not know was there. You really did give me tears; I cried for family members who passed, friends that I’ve lost, grades that dropped for five seconds, and so many more things. [Read more…]
