This is my second Cars & Coffee article, which are my favorite articles to write. I went to last months Cars & Coffee event with a couple of my friends: Dawson, Robert, Dylan, Brett, Alyssa, and Evan. Isces Johnson is a freshman attending Foley High School in the graduating class of 2022. She was born in Foley and has lived in Alabama all her life. Isces play three sports, and during her limited free time, she likes to sleep or hangout with family and friends. She enjoys playing all of her chosen sports, which includes basketball, volleyball, and track, because she has been playing them since she was young.

Ariel Sirmon is a junior at Foley High School. Her friends say she is weird, but she doesn’t let that bother her. Her favorite thing to say is “Face it- our friends are a part of who we are.” She always kids about having no life, but her mom always says she is a busy person. She lives her life to the fullest extent without getting in trouble. She has a radiant personality and her smile is what makes her who she is!

On Friday, February 23, the City of Foley hosted its 38th Annual Arbor Day Celebration. From 1 to 2 PM, members of the community gathered at the Coastal Alabama Farmers and Fishermans Market on Miflin Road to plant trees in honor of the occasion.

This past weekend I got the chance to drive to Mobile by myself for the
first time. Let me tell you, it was absolutely an experience. I am not quite sure how I made it
home without having a mental break down. It was probably the craziest drive I have
ever made in my whole life. My family and myself went to support my aunt while she stood on top of a float and
threw moon-pies and beads at people’s heads. The floats were absolutely stunning.
