Friends of Exceptional Children February Social
On February 1, 2019, the Friends of Exceptional Children (FEC), began the month with a social. The social took place at the Foley High School library, where the members partnered up with a Magnolia Room student to watch the movie Coco during 1st and 2nd blocks. The members that attended the social were required to bring a food item.
Being an FEC member is a lovely thing. I love seeing those beautiful kid’s smile, watch them eat, and spend time with them. Anyone willing to join a new club, I highly recommend joining FEC. I used to be an FEC member throughout elementary school and middle school. Being an FEC member opens your eyes and allows you to develop more kindness. Some of the fun stuff we do includes socials, bake sales, field day, and fundraising constantly.
I want to give a big thank you to the FEC sponsors, director, officers, and members, especially our magnolia kids that bring blessings to our club and school. Below are some pictures from our recent social, and we’ll have more to come soon.
We are meeting more often to prepare more fundraisers and talk about our field day that will take place at Foley High School. I am part of the field day committee and we have so much planned already!
